To protect your pet from infectious diseases, stay up to date on vaccinations. This is equally important even if your pet is mostly indoors. Many infectious diseases are airborne, and pets can easily come into contact with germs through windows. Pet boarding houses, dog parks and grooming centres are also vectors where pets may be exposed to infectious diseases.

It’s also important to note that it takes a few days to a few weeks for a vaccine to take effect.<\/p>\n\n
